I have become a huge fan of the idea of minimalism. I love the idea of using only what you need and creating spaces that can be as multi function as possible. There is nothing that bothers me more than voluminous unused spaces, cavernous air warehouses sucking heating and cooling and serving little other purpose. If the majority of the spaces in your facility could be multi function or multi purpose you can expand your profits exponentially. Key areas where this is feasible are in training and daycare. Why shouldn't one or two of your daycare rooms double as training rooms? Group classes are an excellent revenue stream and support your retail significantly. Simply by making these spaces available and adding some key features such as storage you can transform the space and have it do double duty. If you have a multitude of yards/playrooms, you really have flexibility to schedule appropriately to maximize your profits.
