The numbers tell a story. I love digging in with franchisees as to what that narrative is. Data doesn't lie! The first step in making any step forward is understanding the full scope of where you are at. What trends are you seeing? Can these trends be translated into action items for your teams? More importantly, are you teaching your team to learn to translate? Being aware of the far-reaching implications of just a few pieces of data is empowering. Accurate data collection is just as important as being a savvy translator. What systems and processes do you have in place to collect and aggregate data? How often are you examining it and asking the tough questions?
